      I’m sick of rich white American celebs coming to my country and claiming it’s some sort of utopia nothing like USA.

      It is a shit show here. Hundreds and hundreds of peaceful anti genocide protestors have been arrested on counter terrorism laws

      Trans people have lost all rights to a peaceful, private existence with official segregation policy about to made into law. This policy includes banning trans people from ALL public toilets forcing them into a “third space” that doesn’t exist.

      The cost of living for normal people just keeps going up and up and up. You can mainly thank Brexit for that one.

      Far right are poised to win the next election so everything stated above x10. There are currently pogroms of nationalists outside hotels housing asylum claimants, yesterday police arrested 5 people trying to break into one. One was set on fire last year.

      I live in London, the U.K. is not that different from the US. They imported MAGA bigotry and obsessions from us and their politics is as messed up as ours.
