French Montana is engaged. A rep for the rapper tells TMZ August 27th that he popped the question to Dubai Princess Shikamara Muhammad Rashid Almaktum at Paris Fashion Week back in June. E-News has reached out to reps French as well as the Dubai royal family for comment, but hasn’t yet heard back. French and the princess were first spotted together last year, shortly after she divorced her husband, royal Dubai family member Shik Mana bin Muhammad bin Rasheed bin Mana Al- Matum in July with the daughter of Dubai’s ruler going viral for how she announced her intent to divorce him in a scathing Instagram post accusing her husband of being unfaithful, writing at the time, “Dear husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby by declare our divorce. I divorce you. I divorce you. I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife. The royal couple split came a little over a year after they tied the knot in May 2023. And just 2 months after they welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Mara. As for French, he was previously married to designer Naen Carbuch with whom he shares 16-year-old son Cruz before getting divorced in 2014. Congratulations to the happy couple. [Music]
