She should’ve have stayed missing. The show went downhill when they decided that she’s alive!
One of my all-time favorite shows.
Even when it got shitty, it kept me entertained and remained hilarious.

I’ll always blame PLL for why book adaptations feel the need to be so extremely faithful to the source material even if it doesn’t make sense for the format.
PLL shoved so many unnecessary plots, characters, twists, etc into a basic story that it got so convoluted that the audience hated it.
Without the (deserved) backlash this show got, I feel like shows The Summer I Turned Pretty wouldn’t feel the need to be so exact and it would have been significantly better.

I’ve just started rewatching this as a 27 year old and honestly the storylines are even crazier to watch as an adult but shits still got me hooked
