Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized After “High Speed” Car Accident | E! News

    Rudy Giuliani survives a scary car crash. The former mayor of New York City has been hospitalized following a motor vehicle accident in New Hampshire August 30th. With his head of security, Michael Ragusa, releasing a statement following the incident August 31st, saying, “While traveling on the highway, Mayor Giuliani’s vehicle was struck from behind at high speed. He was transported to a nearby trauma center where he was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg. He continues, “His business partner and medical provider were promptly contacted and arrived at the hospital to oversee his care. He is in good spirits and recovering tremendously. We thank everyone for their continued prayers and support. Following the crash, online users began questioning if the incident was premeditated, something which Ragusa later shut down. Writing on X, “This was not a targeted attack. We ask everyone to respect Mayor Giuliani’s privacy and recovery and refrain from spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.” Giuliani first rose to political fame in the 80s and 90s as a New York prosecutor before becoming mayor of the Big Apple in 1994, a position he held for 7 years. The Brooklyn native then took his career to the national stage, running for president in 2008. And despite losing, Giuliani would eventually make it to the White House in 2017, becoming one of President Donald Trump’s top adviserss. [Music]

    1. I don’t like the man, but with fractured vertebrae I wonder if he also has an SCI. That would take months longer for recovery. I hope he gets the care he needs so later he can serve some jail time for the things he’s done against the law.

    2. He wasn't drunk driving. He had already stopped after being flagged down to render assistance to a woman involved in a domestic dispute. He had already called the police and was waiting for them to arrive. He had his wits about him to do that, in spite of any slanderous idea that he may have been drinking. Baseless attack based on previous slander.
