Blake Lively Keeps Losing To Me! I Took On Her Expensive Lawyers In Court – Representing Myself And:

All right, everybody. It is Perez part two. Back at the federal courthouse here in Las Vegas. I’m about to go inside. And I like to be honest. My hair is flying up and it’s triggering my OCD. I’ll fix that. I um am not very hopeful. I’m not very hopeful, but my resolve to keep fighting is strong. So, even if things don’t go my way today, this is not going to be the end. But hopefully things go my way because I’m tired. I want to be done with this. So, I’ll see you guys after the hearing. All right. Okay. We’re leaving court today. And I take this as a win. Not a huge win, but a win. And I’m going to tell you all about it. I almost just tripped tripped with these boots. Hello. I’m gonna tell you all about it after I go get drinks. That’s right. I honestly there was even more. There were more a lot of folks came out to support today. And to everybody who came out, people that I know and people that I don’t know, thank you. Thank you. That made such a difference. I have a lot to fill you in on, but we’re going to Petite Boem for drinks now. And then um shout out to Petite Boem. They said, “Hey, come come have a drink.” And I I said, “Okay, say less.” Uh oh goodness. Oh my god. I have so my brain is racing. I have so much to tell you all, including what the judge told me. exparte in Chambers, which Blake Lively’s lawyers don’t know. I’ll tell you all about it after drinks. Jesus, this is so crazy. This is so surreal. This is just insanity. Let me get home. Think all the way there. I have a lot to say. I’m stress eating some frozen Girl Scout cookies. Thin mint. I forgot to turn my light on. Oh, it’s not plugged in. I’ll do it in a minute. [Music] M m. Okay. Let me finish this and get back to you. Okay, the lights are on. I’m not going to lie. I have to cut it. Cut it. I have to tell it to you like it is. The only reason this was a win for me today is because Blake Lively’s lawyer was not happy with this outcome. Merryill literally said in court that if this drags on, that is going to hurt Blake Lively. I’m paraphrasing. there’s an actual transcript of what was said. Um, hopefully somebody requests the transcript. Um, and I initially wanted that as well until I found out information that changed everything. This is definitely a win for me, even though it’s not the ideal scenario. My phone keeps blowing up. I’m going to do this in one take. Scoratic sporadic scatic scattered as may as maybe my brain is not well, but for being unwell, I think I did really well in court. I’m really proud of myself, especially because the judge at the very beginning of today’s hearing said that only the federal reporters privilege, the qualified federal reporters privilege will apply here. And when it was my first turn to speak, I told the judge, “Your honor, Miss Lively argued that California law should be applied in New York.” And Judge Lyman applied California law in New York. The drink and the um pin mints. Um Blake Lively argued that California law should be applied in New York and Judge Lyman applied California law when ruling to dismiss Justin Beldon’s complaint against Blake Lively. It would therefore seem equal and fair and the only just and appropriate thing for Nevada law to be applied in Nevada because Blake Lively argued successfully to have California law applied in New York. But this judge here did not apply Nevada law which offers absolute protection to reporters to journalists. The federal reporters privilege offers qualified protection. And Blake Lively literally in her supplemental briefing filed this morning argued that my first amendment rights, let me actually let me read it to you verbatim. I have that one part highlighted. Okay, this is the exact quote filed this morning. If Mr. Hilton is entitled to assert federal common law qualified reporter privilege. It must yield because Miss Lively’s need for the information outweighs Mr. Hilton’s First Amendment interest under the specific facts in this case based on the threeprong test. The threeprong test which she fails. I know that threeprong test it’s not listed here but the threeprong tra the threeprong test means she needs to exhaust all other options which she has not what Blake Lively is requesting of me she can get and is trying to get from the wayfairer defendants direct parties to this litigation not only am I a journalist and my everything is privileged. She wants me to unmask to dox my sources. She wants me to hand over my unpublished work, my privileged work product. She can she she not only can she is going to get that from the wayfairer defendants. Last week, I believe Judge Lyman in the Southern District of New York, who’s overseeing this lawsuit that I am a non-party to, he granted Blake Lively’s motion to compel everything she is asking of me if it exists. If it exists, I have never confirmed or denied talking to anyone. All that I’ve ever said in the past are my sources tell me this or my Baldoni or team Baldon sources. Team Baldoni could be anyone. It could be people not acting at the bequest of Justin Baldoni. It could be his neighbor, his dog walker, his pool cleaner, his sister. his sister whom maybe Justin Baldoni told her don’t talk to anyone and she still did it not at the bequest of Justin Baldon but because she wanted to to to help her brother and give me information. Blake Lively is asking for duplicative information that is extremely burdensome of a nonparty. And today I thought we were going to be handling the issue of privilege, but the majority of today was actually spent talking about the issue of burden because the scope of the subpoena is so broad and burdensome. But I came prepared. I’ve done everything this judge has asked of me. The judge on Friday asked me to prepare a supplemental briefing on privilege. I did it and I submitted it within the day before the court recessed for the holiday weekend. The judge also asked that I prepare a privilege log. I did that and what you’re about to hear now nobody else has heard before because I did an in camera review where it was just me and the judge off the record but he never told me that I can’t talk about it publicly. It was I don’t know if off the record it’s in in camera exparte meaning they kicked out everybody out of the courtroom including Blake Lively’s lawyers. It was just me, the judge, the court transcriber, whatever that name is, his clerk, and some other person. And um so I gave the judge my privilege log and I followed the instructions that he gave me for today and the judge said it needs to be more detailed than this. And actually I think it I think it’s time I’m going to look into I’m going to look actually I’m going to file a motion. I’m gonna file a motion to get a lawyer, I think. But I’m going to try to find a lawyer that will work with me pro bono. Having some coffee. I’m gonna file a motion for a stay to allow me time to find a lawyer because the judge is asking something of me that I don’t think is that I feel very strongly against. So the judge said okay this is what you have prepared. What I prepared was a description. These kinds of different communications exist if I am to hand over everything Blake Lively is requesting. There are text messages, there are emails, there are DMs, there are hundreds of each. I thought I would have to literally be take at at least hundreds. I prepared a a working draft like a a a beginning a starting off place. Hundreds of texts, hundreds of emails, hundreds of DMs. And I gave accurate gueststimations. And the judge said, “This needs to be more detailed. It needs to include dates. It needs to include names. the judge is asking me to unmask my sources. And he said, “Well, only I will look at it.” But I have strong objections to that, which is why I’m going to file a motion to stay until I’m able to retain legal counsel. If I’m able to retain legal counsel, I’m not going to take on legal counsel if I’m paying for it. Because my big takeaway, I could be fighting this well into 2026, the end of September, October, November, December. It would probably cost me well over $100,000 to fight this. I’m not going to spend that much money. All of these headlines like, “Oh, Perez Hilton can’t afford it.” No, no, no, no. I’m making the choice not to spend that much because also because it’s not worth it. Like my money I’m not a baller. Like I I’ve worked really hard to have money saved, but I’m not going to waste $100,000 on Blake Lively. I’m going to fight because it’s the right thing to do because she is asking to change the law. She wants me viewed as nonjournalist or even if I am viewed as a journalist her for BS and here and also okay so many thoughts if I have insurance okay I I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this to you all I have insurance my insurance covers lawsuits my insurance does not cover subpoenas If my insurance would have covered fighting a subpoena, I would have used my insurance and had legal representation. However, going at it prosay has afforded me a lot of leeway and the judge in a way is also acting as my public defender. This is why it’s a win today because Blake Lively’s lawyers kept losing in court today. Oh, but your honor, and this and that. No. The judge shut Mel down repeatedly, time after time after time again. Your honor, it shouldn’t be that hard to to take some screenshots. And the judge said, “I’m not going to request I’m not going to require him to put together any privilege log. He can hire a forensic expert and a parallegal to help him. And if you want this, if Miss Lively wants it, she’s going to have to pay for it. And spoiler alert, please keep watching because I still have a lot more thoughts and analysis um and next steps and I’m going to share all of that. But here’s what’s most likely going to happen, y’all. Judge Lyman gave the Wayfairer defendants a deadline of next week to produce all of the materials that he is ordering them to hand over to Blake Lively, including communications with content creators, which is what they’re lumping me under. Even though I am a reporter, I am a celebrity reporter. I am a journalist who also creates content. I do both. Judge Lyman gave the Wayfairer defendants a deadline of next week to hand over all of these communications. If communications between me and the Wayfair defendants exist, they need to be handed over by next week, which the judge asked Blake Lively’s lawyers today about that deadline because the threeprong test includes also exhausting all other sources and it also includes that the information sought the bar the st I I freaking am a lawyer. Like, I’ve gotten so much training. The standard is not mere relevancy. The standard is critical information, which in the supplemental briefing that Blake Lively’s lawyers submitted today, they even ex acknowledged. Oh, um, the Wayfairer defendants said that they had spoken to Billy Bush. Oh, okay. Why did you all not subpoena Billy Bush, but you subpoenaed me? Seems retaliatory to me. So Blake Lively got shut down. Her lawyer was told, “Nope, I’m not going to I’m not going to require him to prepare a privilege log.” But even before the privilege log, the judge gave me a deadline of Monday to get quotes, get estimates from forensic experts. So, I was having a like a meltdown during my one-on-one with the judge because if I was to personally prepare a detailed privilege log for this judge that included dates and names and descriptions of the communications and everything, it would honestly it would probably be because of the scope of what she’s asking for even before the alleged retaliatory smear campaign. Blake Lively wants my information from May of 2024. Three May, June, July, over three months before the the smear campaign began that she claims began in August of 2024. And the judge here said, “Well, I don’t care that Judge Lyman is limiting it to February. I might order production through today, through through through September. It would have taken me weeks, if not possibly longer than a month to present to put together everything for the judge under seal in camera to review this new privilege log. And yes, he is asking for dates and names. He wants to know my name, my sources. Which is why I feel I need to at this point get a lawyer because I don’t I I don’t think that that’s once my sources have been unmasked. There’s no putting the genie back in the bottle. The damage is done. I’ve already doxed my sources and people give me information knowing I take my job as a reporter so seriously and I protect my sources. That’s why I’ve been fighting this now for three months. But the deadline for Monday is the precursor to the first step. This is the the precursor. The judge wants me to get three estimates and then he will determine if they if he thinks they are fair. And if they are fair, he said there’s not going to be a need for another hearing. He’s just going to force Blake Lively to pay for a forensic data extraction expert and a parallegal to help me with my privilege log. If she wants it, that’s what she’s going to have to do. the judge said that she can object to it if she thinks it’s too expensive or whatever, then there will likely be multiple more hearings on on this subpoena and discovery if I continue to fight it. And if she continues to to, you know, exhaust this, meaning me, literally exhaust me in every sense, which I hope she doesn’t. Like, one of Blake Lively’s problems is her ego. She needs to just acknowledge the L, accept the L, take her loss, and keep it moving because I get it. She has unlimited resources financially. The money aspect is not an issue for her. The issue is fighting me here in Las Vegas as I’m now aware will likely bleed into 2026 or if not then you know November dece it’ll take months okay it’s going to be a very long process and it’ll take not financial bandwidth it’ll take human bandwidth putting people to fight This is throwing fire to this when instead she can be throwing manpower to Justin Baldon and the Wayfair defendants. And what brings me the most joy, what makes me the happiest is knowing even if the judge rules that I have so many thoughts. Please keep watching. I’ll save this thought because it was a win for me today, but it wasn’t a resounding victory. It’s a win for the fight, but the war rages on and the the battle is far from over. What’s frustrating is I know I know this judge has more than enough information to issue a ruling already. I’ve multiple times in filings and in court very eloquently, explicitly argued everything This judge has enough information to grant or deny my motion to quash and grant or deny Blake Lively’s motion to compel. But he’s not doing that. He did not let Blake Lively’s legal team steamroll this process. It’s not being fasttrack fasttracked. It’s going to take a long time. This judge is by the book, which I respect, even though it’s I want to be done with this. I want to just go back to being a reporter commenting and sharing news and updates. I don’t want to be involved in this anymore. It’s I’m so drained. I am so over it, but I’m grateful that I have not spent tens of thousands of dollars fighting this. And that’s the thing, right? There are two justice systems in this country. There’s the justice system for regular people like you and I, and then there’s the justice system for the uber wealthy like Blake Lively. The uber wealthy can exhaust people financially physically, emotionally, spiritually. This like I don’t I haven’t even I don’t have to pretend to be strong. You guys have like I’ve been very unwell because of this. Like the level of anxiety and stress has been so toxic to my body. An uber wealthy person can use their money and power to force their opponents to heal down, to succumb. Even if they’re right, the opponent, even if the law is on the opponent’s side, the uber wealthy will win. that money and power will protect them. And that’s what Blake Lively has been doing with me and with so many others. How could what I have be critical to her case when she subpoenaed over 108 creator journalists and when she didn’t subpoena everybody. She didn’t subpoena Billy Bush and she should have. I know she didn’t. I searched. There was no subpoena issued out of the Southern District of New York against Billy Bush. But I’m thankful Blake Lively and her lawyers have made me stronger and smarter and more relevant. She thinks she’s hurt me. She’s only helped me. Yes, it’s taken a toll on me. But while it’s been hard on me personally, it’s been wonderful professionally, babe. In 2024, Justin Baldon’s crisis communications expert, Melissa Nathan, called me irrelevant, a has been, saying, “Nobody reads my website past 2005, saying I don’t generate headlines.” Literally calling me a troll. Her words. That’s all been submitted into evidence. You can look it up. Then in January of this year, the 20th or 21st of January, Melissa Nathan and employees at her tag company, the agency group, were asking, “How do we get a hold of Perez?” At the end of January, the third or fourth week of January, how do we get a hold of Perez? How the hell was I a part of some retaliatory smear campaign and her his crisis PR company doesn’t even know how to get a hold of me? Her employees don’t even know how to get a hold of me. And I’m going to keep fighting. I’m going to look into getting a lawyer pro bono. I’m going to file my motion to stay until I can retain counsel. Any suggestions? I’m open to them. And I want to end things on a very positive note. As I’ve said repeatedly, if worstc case scenario happens and Blake Lively gets everything she is asking of me, it’s still not going to help her. It’s not going to help her. Spoiler alert. I’ve said that before, though. Like, but they’re dumb enough to keep pursuing this because they’ve got nothing. Blake Lively has no evidence of a retaliatory smear campaign, which is why I’ve said this is probably going to settle. She and Baldon are going to settle before the trial starts in March of 2026. It’s very risky for her to take it to trial and it’s risky for him. There’s no clear-cut winner on either side. But while this was a win for me, it was a win of a fight, not a win of the war or a win of the battle. And I loved Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh, I got to end on an even better note. Oh my god. I’m savage. After the hearing, Blake Lively’s lawyers left the courtroom and I told Merryill, “Good seeing you today. Great job, sweetie. You did wonderful in there.” Cuz she didn’t. Poor Merryill. Merryill should be ashamed of herself. Merryill is a former journalist. And of everybody that Blake Lively on in her multiple law firms that are working with her, to have a former journalist be the the lead lawyer taking charge on trying to take away rights from journalists, to have a that person be a former journalist herself. Shameful and despicable. Merryill. I did I I also sent a letter an email to all of her lawyers afterwards saying, “Don’t take it out on Merryill. She tried her best and it was very mediocre.” I literally emailed her lawyers that after the the hearing today. Poor Merryill. She tried her best and it was very mediocre. Ah, you guys, when this is turned into a movie, I need to play myself, okay? And for everybody asking how you can support me, I’m not asking for anybody’s money. Just watch my videos. Watching really helps, especially if you watch until the very end. Like, comment, share. If anybody really wants to go above and beyond, they can uh, you know, gift a super chat or buy some merch on my merch site bypop stuff.com or they can get a cameo from me or they can like like whatever. Thank you to everybody who showed up today. There were more people there today than last week. Thank you to Vegas Navigator and CJ and Maxine and everybody. Thank you to Petite Boem for a wonderful gathering afterwards and a celebration. Thank you to my Fram. Thank you to my mom and my sister. But honestly, thank you to everybody who just gets it. I am loud. I’m colorful, but I’m doing this for the right reasons. This is bigger than me. This is crazy. I literally said that. I said that. I said the judge is anal, but he also has been very like he has been very fair and almost acting like my public defender. And when we were like that in camera review lasted a while. We talked a lot and he made sure I understood everything. He repeated himself and explained it as many times as I needed to get it. Um, so yeah, nothing but good things to say about Judge Bullwware, although he had more than he has more than enough to rule. But the fact that he Blake Lively’s lawyers now know how long this will all take and because they’re not going to get it next week from the Wayfairer defendants, even more reason to just withdraw this And the longer that I’m a part of it, the worse it looks for Blake Lively and the better for me, the more relevant I continue to be. Oh my god, this is just so crazy. Crazy. Thank you. I’ve said it all. Maybe I’ll have some more thoughts tomorrow. I don’t know. But I’m not well. I’m also so hot. I don’t know why I did this with it on. Um I’m not well. This is this has been I will keep fighting till the bitter end, but hopefully the fight will be over sooner than later. Thank you for watching till the end. I love you. Love, deep gratitude. Let’s chat in the comments. All right. Bye. P.S. I changed outfits and as I was about to publish this video, I remembered something I did not explain. I did not share with you all an important piece of information. Also, thank you again to everybody who showed up and to the very kind supporter who gave me this friendship bracelet. Says, “Fresh out the slammer. If you know, you know.” So, this is worth it and delicious. Blake Lively’s lawyer, Merrill, got shut down repeatedly in so many ways. One of the many ways is the judge kept correcting her and telling her to shut up, telling telling Mel, “You’ve already argued that you we’re not arguing that now. You’ve already we’re not discussing that now.” Over and over and over again, if that even exists. The judge was really working as my public defender as I stated. So the judge has to consider if the information sought from me is privileged or not. I would think that would be an easy thing. But the judge is insisting on this privilege log and then he will determine if it’s privileged or not. But this is what I don’t understand. The judge isn’t even asking for the actual communications. He just wants names and dates. But even that, the names I have an issue with because that is unmasking my sources. Even if it’s just for the judge. But also like for all you lawyers out there, how can the judge determine privilege just by the names of my sources without even knowing what I’m talking about with those sources? No context. He’s not I literally when we were in camera expart just me and him, he lit he went over everything multiple times with me. He’s not asking for the communications. He He just wants the privilege log, the dates, names, and descriptions of what was discussed, which is so burdensome, would take so much time, but like how would the judge I mean, I guess I don’t know. Just this is so freaking crazy, y’all. This is cra This is so This is just so This is crazy, isn’t it? This This is Isn’t this This is Oh, so crazy. crazy. But I walk out of this today a winner and with a new friendship bracelet that I will hold on to forever. I will never forget this. Thank you to Moods of Norway for my outfit. my vintage Moods of Norway outfit. I love moods of Norway and I’m just grateful that this was a win. I haven’t won the war yet, but I’ve won this battle and I’ll take every win I can get. All right, see you in the comments. PPS, you think I’m done? No. Perhaps another highlight I had to share with you all. This subpoena, as I told you all, was so burdensome and over broad. Blake Lively’s lawyer was trying to narrow the scope of the subpoena during the hearing, but clearly not able to because her wheels were I I think like a lawyer now. I’ve I’ve learned so much, researched so much, studied so much. Merryill could not without consulting with her client first narrow the scope of the subpoena. Even though she told the judge, “Your honor, it’s not that much work to take some screenshots.” But the judge said, “Well, you’re not just asking for that. You’re asking for all of these things.” That’s what the subpoena is requesting. this overly broad subpoena. If you just care about text messages or this or that, your subpoena should have just asked for that. But it didn’t. It asked for a whole buttload of mountains of things that would take me and I don’t even know how long it’ll take a forensic expert. I am unfortunately well not even for I am thanks to Blake still a part of this for a considerable while longer. I don’t even know. I I’m not going to make any more PS’s because let me just publish this video. Jesus. All right. I love you. Bye bye. Yeah, I’m back. You know, my favorite favorite favorite favorite part. Blake Lively could get everything she is asking of me and it won’t help her. Or she’s going to be forced by this judge in Nevada to pay for a forensic expert to pay for a parallegal and possibly get nothing from me. That’s a high probability because I think this judge knows what’s up. He’s just being a stickler to buy the book how it should be done. Um the judge could look at my professionally done privileged log and be like, “Okay, yeah, you were right. That’s privileged. That’s privileged. That’s privileged.” She gets nothing. Thanks for paying for everything, Blake. And thanks for keeping me attached to this story and making me a featured player in the saga. It ends with us saga. But actually, it really does end with me because this nut job said that her needs her needs supersede the first amendment. She’s got nothing, ladies and gentlemen. She’s got all that jazz. All right, see you in the comments now for real.

    1. I don't understand…. why are you in the phase f even showing anything? Why are you not fighting that you are a journalist, hence, should not even enter into anything legal regarding your sources? Shouldn't you be fighting to be dismissed completely for journalistic privilege in protecting your sources? The judge should not even get to see anything, as imo, entering into showing anything is giving up your journalist position.

    2. I think it’s great that the judge is willing to require them to pay for a paralegal and forensic expert for you!
Those would be amazing resources for you, and it would hurt Blake’s pocketbook even more!

    3. I’m very hopeful on your behalf! I’m glad the judge mandated some help for you so hopefully that eases some stress, as the fight drags out. Just remember, YOU are innocent. YOU are in the right. You’ve got this and you have so many of us sending positive energy and support your way! 😉❤

    4. Perez, contact you tuber and lawyer John Bryan at at the Civil Rights Attorney. He lives and works in WV but he has many contacts and is able to get pro bono attorneys for others. He may be able to guide you and he is VERY committed to our First Amendment Rights Keep fighting, we LOVE you!

    5. It may not me a big Win for you, but I think it's a big lost for the other team. Sorry you still have to deal with this nonsense, but you are doing a great job for you and for journalism. Plus, Blake is gonna have to spend money on you. 😉

    6. Frankly, Blake doing this to you is just bringing you more attention/views, which only helps you. Yes, she's creating a headache, but this is really interesting, and people want to watch. She's only bringing you up, while making herself look even more arrogant, entitled & narcissistic.

    7. .

In Megyn Kelly her content when she talked about her subpoena from Blake. A lawyer said if someone in this case calls him.. he will help for free.

Stop telling to much Perez. 😮 Team Lively is also watching your content
