Excited for this. I liked the new Superman and surprised how much I loved Hoult as Lex Luthor. He’s constantly surprising me in his roles.
As a superhero girlie I’m pumped to see this, Batman 2, Supergirl, avengers movies, brand new day. Going to be living the next few years

Can I just say I’m happy it’s just a straight sequel from the sounds of things. I know there’s a larger “universe” at play here but I just want some Superman stories on the screen, worry about that other stuff in due time.

Would’ve bet good money it was supergirl/superman v brainiac, but this looks like it’s a team up with lex (still guessing against brainiac), lex gets pardoned for helping, runs as president etc – mixing a couple of comic book runs from what I remember
EDIT: I will say, gunn is the only guy currently writting cbm’s that still kinda surprises me, never would’ve thought they’d bring back lex for more than a cameo so fast. props to him

I wonder if this has something to do with the Supergirl movie dropping the ‘Woman of Tomorrow’ from its title? So that he could use Man of Tomorrow, which can describe both Superman and Lex for a movie with both of them as co-leads. I know he already gave a different reason, but I was just wondering
