I am excited for this project.
I can see it.
Not such a fan of the casting, but will watch anything PWB and excited to see her going for something big in scale.
Will never not find it insane that they biffed the last one so badly though. They had a dream blueprint with the first of the newer games, and just sucked everything interesting or exciting out of it.
ahhh, I remember her six pack pictures, she trained like crazy. Good for her.
It’s not Sydney Sweeney, Dakota Johnson or Gal Gadot. We’re off to a good start.
I’m a fan of both Sophie and PWB so I will be seated. Sophie’s clearly been training for filming for months even though she had to act coy until this confirmation I guess.
Uh yeah I don’t see it but I never thought those games really deserved a movie anyways
I also need a new video game too.
At least for the first time a live action Lara Croft will actually be British.
Nothing against Turner but on the surface this seems like awful casting. Hopefully I’m wrong but I honestly just really would have preferred someone older.
I was kinda hoping for a queer casting to canonize the Lara-Sam relationship from the 2013 game. But i also like Sophie Turner and trust/hope this will be good either way

I wish PWB would be involved in some more interesting projects than all these boring Hollywood productions. I get it, it’s a job. But after Fleabag I had hoped for something more interesting.
I have a massive soft spot for the Angelina Jolie Lara Croft movies and I didn’t really love Alicia Vikander’s version but idk why this one sounds exciting to me. I’m sat
This combo is the British equivalent to Lena Dunham to me.
She was fine as Sansa because she could grow into the role and the writers could adapt the material to put her in the best position, but from what I’ve seen of everything else she’s been in, I’m not sure she can really act.
Here for Phoebe Waller-Bridge! Honestly couldn’t care for much else in this project.
She was amazing in Joan so I’ll cross my fingers.
