Six AfD candidates have died in the weeks leading up to local elections in Germany's most populous state, North Rhine-Westphalia. Police have said there is nothing suspicious about the deaths.

The AfD became the second-largest party in Germany in February's federal elections, expanding its popularity from the east to the west of the country. Germany's intelligence agency classified the AfD as a right-wing extremist organization in May, before temporarily suspending that classification due to an ongoing appeal, the report said.

    1. I’ll pray for them all to reach Nazi-Heaven, or wherever it is that they can be reunited with spirits of their Nazi-forebears. I imagine it’ll be very hot there, for a very long time.

    2. Na dann…

      Immer so weiter, Deutschland.

Also, since the U.S. has the same letters in a different order, ADF, can someone go work on the same project there…thanks so much.

The article notes that at least two of the six dead were replacement candidates for the first four that died. The article also notes that candidates in Germany’s other political parties have also died (though it does not state how many from each party), and German police have stated that there is little evidence that would make these deaths suspicious.

German Intelligence had declared AfD was a far-right hate group in the country, and only retracted it because the classification is currently being challenged in court. It’s interesting.
