Charlie Sheen Shares Plea for Two and a Half Men Costar Jon Cryer | E! News
There’s only one person alive that has the answers to so many people’s questions about me and that’s Charlie Sheen is giving kudos to his friend and co-star John Crier for participating in his new Netflix documentary aka Charlie Sheen. More than a decade after the Two and a Half Men actor was fired from the sitcom following a very public spiral from his drug addiction, he is thanking his co-star John Crier for taking part in the film. In a September 3rd interview, Charlie tells People, “The only person I didn’t call personally to participate in the dock was John. And the only reason I didn’t call him was because I didn’t have the right number for him. So, the director reached out to him. When I saw everything that John spoke about so honestly and very compassionately, I wrote to him and I said, “Hey, thank you for your contributions and I’m sorry we didn’t connect personally.” He adds, “It was really cool to hear from his perspective. He was in the line of fire with all that stupid going on and it was affecting him and his family and his career and all that. I can’t debate anything that he said, but Charlie claims he has yet to hear back from the two-time Emmy winner, which is out of character. So, he issued a public plea for Jon to get in touch, adding, “I’m thinking I wrote to the wrong number. It’s not like Jon did not respond.
