Beyond his personal problematic ways, this is just another example to add to the never ending list of media & fashion companies in Los Angeles offering employees below the going rate. And they get away with it b/c those accepting an offer so low are too naive or too desperate to know that the “once in a lifetime experience” they are dangling in-front of candidates will never add up to the money they actually can afford to be paying you.

Alright I have a confession: I’ve never known who this man is (only saw his name around the internet, usually negatively) and I’ve been too afraid to ask. What’s his deal?
Do they think they’re doing people a favor hiring them so they don’t have to pay? Or do they think working for them is going to incrase value of your resume so you can work for nothing? What the hell is even that…
50k in LA is diabolical…. That’s barely enough to split rent with a roomate.
