Never. Tom Holland looks unrecognizable in new Lego ad. The actor has traded in his signature brunette hair for blonde locks in a new TV ad short for Lego. In the video, Tom can be seen sporting various styles while he plays different characters, even rocking a goatee at one point. The latest short film titled Never Stop Playing features the actor as well as appearances from his brothers Sam and Harry as he plays different characters. In a press release from LEGO, they revealed September 2nd that the company collaborated with Tom for the ad to quote, “Send a powerful message to kids and families around the world. Never stop playing.” Together, they want to reignite kids and families playful spirits and show that growing up doesn’t have to mean giving up on creativity and play. Tom further expressed his love for Lego in the statement by saying, “I loved building with Lego bricks as a child. My brothers and I would create our own wild worlds, turning the living room into a prehistoric jungle with our Lego dinosaur set or set up racing tracks for our Lego cars. He continued, “It was fun to relive those memories on set. Becoming an official playmaker is very cool. No matter how busy life gets, I’ve never stopped playing and I don’t plan to anytime soon.” Tom Holland is no stranger to switching up his hairstyles for roles either. He brought back a 70s look for the Apple TV Plus series The Crowded Room a few years ago. a look that even he admitted was a lot for his now fiance Zenaia to put up with. He told radio times.com in an interview published at the time, “Obviously, I had that crazy hairstyle. I had the bangs. Bless Zena. She had a lot to put up with with me looking like that for 10 months. It was rough.
