It’s shameful how the US enabled this genocide, as well as other past atrocities committed by Bibi. How can a US rep in the UN veto a resolution to condemn Israel with a straight face? How can these politicians sleep at night?
Before I played the video, the first thing I thought was “He’s going to keep saying Netanyahu instead of Israel as usual” and of course he continues to do so. Paired with his refusal to call it a genocide and I’m honestly so over him at this point. He’s been a major disappointment.
It feels as if the world is waiting for all of us in Gaza to perish before this genocide and ethnic cleansing against us will stop.

Bernie i love ya, i rlly do but i genuinely, earnestly would like a reason as to why you wont deem it a genocide. I truly do not think we are misusing the term as a general populus. I really wanna know why he wont call it like it is?

This isn’t an appeal to anything. It’s a political ad. There is no mention of anything anyone can do, any aid groups to donate to, just “joining the movement,” by which he means his speaking tour. He’s still using liberal Zionist rhetoric in specifically calling this Netanyahu’s government. Still refuses to call it genocide. If he’s not apologizing for his past views and speaking truth to power, his words are meaningless.
