She was an all-star.
Unless she is extremely problematic behind the scenes or extremely expensive, I have a hard time believing this. Even problematic is a hard sell considering how badly behaved previous unfired SNL stars are rumored to have been.
Well thatās Snlās loss because she was one of the best modern cast members.
Her breaking character during the Beavis and Butthead sketch made it even better imo. If that contributed to Lorne not having her back, that’s really shitty.
I hope that’s not true, but he’s done this shit before. He fired Taran Killam after six seasons (I think?) and he was really funny.
Meanwhile Jimmy Fallon laughed like an idiot through 75% of his sketches.
Horatio and Fallon kept their jobs forever, ppl getting fired for breaking is so not true. Kenan and Marcello also break a lot, Wiig and Hader also did a lot. McKinnon and Aidy too. no one gets fired for breaking, especially bc Heidi did not have a rep for doing so. if anything Bowen and Sarah Sherman are notorious for it on this cast

On the positive side, she had a 8-year run. That is longer than most. It sucks to lose a job, but she’s bigger leaving than she was entering.
Heidi Gardiner is he a good actress but sheās not a comedian. She can act funny but itās an act thereās nothing genuine about it. Itās all over the top. It looks like sheās trying to be funny. Even if these rumours arenāt true. I am so glad sheās leaving.

So many people have broken character over the years. Bill Hader, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant. I don’t think that’s the issue all these people stayed on the show for a very long time
