Gigi Hadid Shares Sweet Note for Daughter Khai on First Day of School | E! News

Gigi Hadid is celebrating her daughter’s first day back to school. On September 4th, the supermodel took to her Instagram stories with this shot of her daughter’s lunchbox that reads, “Happy first day back to school. So proud of you, mama.” The meal contains carrots, frosted animals, what appears to be a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, pasta, and a side of an apple, and seaweed snacks. Gigi shares little Kai Hud Malik with her ex-boyfriend, One Direction Saint Malik. She was born in September of 2020, and the former couple now amicably co-parent, the 5-year-old. Over the years, Gigi has shared many photos of her daughter online, just none showing her face. In various photos, the mother-daughter duo can be seen snuggling, playing with toys, riding bikes down a snowy path, and making sand mermaids at the beach. In a March 11th interview with Vogue, speaking on her arrangement with Zayn, Gigi says, “Zay and I do our custody schedules months in advance. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and we have each other’s backs. [Music]
