During an appearance on Late Night with Steven Colbear, the actress recounts an unfortunate incident her daughter encountered with an electric bike. She reveals on the September 4th episode. My daughter ended up having like an accident and I was like calling her and I and she’s fine. She’s fine. Yes, everything’s fine. Um she’s actually my daughter actually she got in an ebike accident um city in no in uh in France which sounds so fabulous. Um uh so yes we were in fabulous France and then uh she had an ebike accident and she was like a mile out in um the mountains and ripped her whole elbow open. It was completely just I mean we’ve spent days in an ER in and out. She’s fine. But she ripped off her bra and turned it into a tourniquet. And I was like Drew, however, is taking no credibility for her daughter’s emergency skills. You raised her right. You raised her right. And I did you ever prep her for that? No. It just that’s who she is. Wow. And I just marvel at her. But you had to have done something right for her to have that presence of mine. You think I have anything to do with it? Of course, they learn by example, don’t they? God, I hope I’m that cool. Ultimately, raising her daughters right is something Drew takes great pride in. As she previously shared that her 2016 divorce that occurred when her girls were young had left her with a lot of guilt. She explained in a March episode of her talk show, “Everything to me was very devastating. It took me a long time to recover from if it wasn’t in the traditional family dynamic that I swore I would do for my family because I did not grow up that way.” And she’s previously used Steven’s show to marvel at how her daughters have turned out so far.
