Yeah, that’s why they changed the name of their propaganda from “hasbara” to “toda’a”—because they’ve realized that “hasbara” has become synonymous with genocide propaganda in modern popular culture.
The weird paradox that Israel finds itself in now is that it has to appear extreme enough to placate its government/civilian population of foaming-at-the-mouth warhawks while moderate enough to retain international popular sipport. Obviously this is an impossible goal, so it’s failing.
