This is great that they are staying in the kids’ lives.
I care little for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship, but I do like how she seems to be a good stepmom. As Mel Horowitz says, you divorce wives, not children.
I really like how she is maintaining relationships with bens kids even after they are seemingly no longer amicable. It’s undeniably sweet. A lot of people would just not really care.

I really love this. One of the hardest things (in my own personal experience) is when your parents divorce young, the coming and goings of new partners. It’s like a forced break up with someone who you didn’t even ask to be dating. If that makes any sense. PLUS the extended family of that partner too. Regardless of when happened with Ben and JLO, the maturity displayed is refreshing

I think it’s really sweet that they all seem to be staying in each other’s lives (Ben Affleck has been seen with Jennifer Lopez’s kids, and the kids have reportedly been seen together too without the adults). I think that really speaks to their work towards blending the families, as Lopez and Affleck really weren’t together that long, relatively speaking. But clearly when they married, they told the kids they were family, and they meant it, which is great.
