I can’t with the upturned eyebrows. I’m so tired.
He styles Zendaya so well but this look on Ariana is a flop imo. Maybe it’s because it’s both the contrasting polka dots and the peplum?
Not a fan of the look, it is a little big for her frame and not a color that compliments her.
I was so excited for her red carpet return and I’m just…underwhelmed. She looks beautiful, but I’m just meh about this

Wow, that is truly a hideous dress.
I feel like she has worn this exact outfit several times. It’s tired.
the whole approach feels both juvenile and matronly at the same time. like, it’s a womanly gown, but a teeny-booper hairstyle. the shape of the dress and the polka dots are very classic 50s but they haven’t been updated in any way so it doesn’t feel fresh, just literal. overall, i think “old hollywood” has just never really been Ari’s thing, and that’s why this whole Glindification rebrand feels so insincere and forced.

And must everything she does have a peach pink tone? I couldn’t wear such a meh color (looks like *flesh* to me) for months constantly!
Also, why are her eyebrows at the angle? Is it make-up???
the bust is too big/loose and it’s weighed down which leaves this awkward gap of too much chest showing since the dress isn’t tight across her upper breast and since she’s pretty flat chested, the dress has nothing to extend it out in the front to match the peplum waist. In short – it’s heavy & frumpy and the black is wayyyy too dark against her skin (her tan looks weirdly gray/faded?)
Much more to dissect here, but these are my kindest thoughts.
I’m just so over the blonde it washes her out completely since she’s not tanning anymore. I was hoping with wicked done filming she’d go back but I’m afraid it’s here to stay 🥴 this look works for an actors luncheon or something but not vmas
The eyebrows make her look like she’s eternally about to sneeze
My issue is with her makeup more than the dress. The eyebrows look weird and the makeup washes her out.
Pretty sure my Barbie had a dress like that.
For someone who owns a makeup brand, her makeup in the last year has been…truly inexplicable.
I agree with the comments that if she could let go of control + let Law take the reins for the full spectrum of styling (input on makeup / hair etc), he could really transform her look. Sadly I think she clearly has some self-image distortion. Which is probably impossible to avoid when you start out as a child in this business.
I feel like she had to have picked this. Law doesn’t flop and this dress is 😬

She doesn’t look as blonde as she did. I really do miss her dark hair. Maybe after wicked 2 promo wraps, she’ll start to go darker 😭

She unfortunately is unwilling to stray from the makeup and styling choices. I will say no more
