Lady Gaga is in a rush to leave the VMAs. The iconic singer had other priorities. She’s currently on her Mayhem ball tour, and the final MSG show was scheduled the same night as the VMAs. But that didn’t stop the singer from accepting her award for artist of the year before jetting off. Gaga gave Ariana Grande, who was sitting next to her, a big hug before walking on stage to accept her title from Lenny Kravitz. And for her dedications, she gave a big shout out to her fans and then her partner Michael Palansky. So my partner in all things Michael, creating this year with you was a beautiful, beautiful dream. And you have been my partner every step of the way. I dedicate this to you too, my love. I wish I could stay and watch all these amazing performances, but I have to go back to Madison Square Garden.
