Buster Rhymes may be a hip-hop legend, but his real hustle in life is being a father of six. And while he’s getting the inaugural Rock the Bells Visionary Award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7th, the 53-year-old who was born Trevor George Smith Jr. shares an inseparable bond with his now grown children, sons Taziah Woodsmith, Key Woodmith, Trillian Woodsmith, and Cesario Smith, as well as daughters Mariah Mskelli, and Casey Smith. On Instagram on Father’s Day, Busta posted, “The blessings don’t stop, so we won’t ever stop. Never. There’s nothing greater in this world than being a father to your beautiful children that love you so unconditionally and make you proud to be a father that you are and was always supposed to be to them. Especially when they love you with all your imperfections unconditionally. I love you all my beautiful grown babies. The Brooklyn native kids come from four different relationships and were raised primarily out of the spotlight. After he was honored for a lifetime achievement at the June 2023 BET Awards, Busta spoke on his achievements, but also missing milestones in his kids’ lives.
