Debbie Ryan is going to be a mom. The actress announces that she and husband Josh Dunn are expecting their first child together. In the September 7th Instagram post, Debbie shares a sweet pic of herself cradling her growing belly as the 21 Pilots drummer holds up a pair of babysized checkerboard fans, captioning the shot, “Done and done plus one.” This exciting news for the couple comes after they began dating in 2013, going on to secretly tie the knot seven years later. Debbie, who first rose to fame in 2008 from her various roles on the Disney Channel, has previously spoken about wanting to become a mom. However, she’s also being candid about the potential struggles she sees with raising a child in the public eye, explaining in a March 2021 Facebook live, the idea of like sort of being thrust into public visibility before you even know who you are and people being like, “Answer this question about yourself and then being held to that.” That’s something I chose. So for my future child who won’t have chosen that, hopefully there will be both laws in place and systems in place to protect them from being photographed or being sort of shared and seen. [Music]
