People sometimes just have an opinion versus really having the experience. It’s really not up for a debate. Emma Heming Willis speaking out amid backlash surrounding husband Bruce, who’s been living apart from his wife and their two daughters in a separate home with Emma reiterating on Good Morning America September 9th, it’s a better fit for the actor’s treatment for dementia and aphasia. was a it was a hard decision for us, but that was the safest and best decision, not just for Bruce, but for also for our two young girls. And you know, it’s really not up for a debate to, you know, now I know that Bruce has the best care 100% of the time. His needs are met 100% of the time, as well as our two young daughters. So, I’m not going to take a vote on that. Emma also citing a lack of awareness surrounding caregivers, a role she took on in the wake of Bruce’s diagnosis with support from his ex Demi Moore and their three daughters. I feel like caregivers are so judged. And it just goes to show that people sometimes just have an opinion versus really having the experience. And and I’ll say that, you know, dementia plays out differently in every household. If you’ve seen, you know, one case of dementia, it is one case of dementia. So you have to do what is right for your family and what is going to keep your loved ones safe as well as your young children. [Music]

We had the choice of putting my grandmother in a home in her final days. She was disabled and incoherent. I could not imagine sticking her somewhere and then dolling myself up to defend that decision on television. I don't know what their life was like together, but it just comes off as out of touch.

Don't judge unless u have walked in there shoes believe me it's hard I've gone thru it I had to place my husband in a home to be cared it was also a hard decision to do but I know my husband wouldn't want me to be overwhelmed in still there for him and working and keeping our home together my prayers to everyone who has or is going thru this kind of situation…..thank Emma for speaking out
She is a pathetic person. How could she live with herself. Take his money and run. Pathetic
A woman I once worked with took responsibility over her mother who was diagnosed with dementia and it was extremely difficult. Especially emotionally. She did the best she could until it was no longer enough and her mother had to have around the clock care at a facility. And she still visited her all of the time and she loved her dearly. It is very heartbreaking to watch someone you love slowly wither away.
Dementia is unpredictable and she has younger children. She has to assure their safety. Its not that Bruce would intentionally hurt them but he isnt in charge, his dementia is. You who are condemning her decision need to shut it. Im sure he has the best trained care team money can bye.
