Everyone’s moved on, but I’m still caught in the eerie silence, wondering why Ariana’s boyfriend looks like he was sculpted from the same mold as her brother

    1. It’s not just you, OP. I literally brought this up again just today, for the millionth time. I just can’t process it.

    2. There is/was an IG account called “siblings or dating” that I used to check religiously and lemme tell you, ppl fuckin LOVE dating ppl who look like their relatives.

    3. This is something I’ve noticed, and find really interesting about people with siblings they’re close to. Specifically that If they date people of the same gender as said sibling, they’ll either date people who look eerily similar to said sibling(s) or date people who look the complete opposite, and there’s no in-between.

    4. Is she still with him? They’ve gone pretty silent and Ariana usually does that right before a break up….. or am I crazy?

    5. It reminds me of a friend of mine who brought her boyfriend to a family reunion and SEVERAL family members thought her boyfriend was her brother (they hadn’t seen the brother in a while) They’re married now and she’s always saying she can’t tell who their kids look more like and…well…..they look like both of them because they look alike! I dunno, I just really can’t imagine being attracted to someone who looks like me or a family member but I suppose they just don’t see the resemblance.

    6. I see your Grande and I raise you Billie Eilish’s brother…his gf is….almost identical to Billie its gross

    7. I will never unsee the similarities now. That’s actually mind blowing seeing side by side like that.

    8. Yeah, it’s been very clear from the start of the rumors. I don’t think it’s necessarily conscious like she chose him to remind her of her brother, but I’m sure she thinks he’s more handsome because he shares features with her brother, like the familiar beloved face.

Plus looking like her brother means he looks somewhat like her, too. Tons of people go for folks who look like themselves.
