I’m so tired of men.
When they were dating I was so young and thought they were such a cool couple. Now that I’m older, I’m disturbed that a grown man would not only date a teenager, but flaunt their relationship around. I wonder how he’d feel if his daughter was dating someone so much older.
Honestly, I’m almost as grossed out at the interviewer asking Hilary Duff this question in the first place. It’s terrible how normalized it was/is for entertainment journalists to ask celebrities, primarily women celebrities, about their first sexual experiences.

I remember losing my virginity to a 23 year old when I was 16. Those age gaps felt so normal then. Now I’m almost 29 and it breaks my heart. Just disgusting.
