      Grief implies loss of some kind, none of us knew him. If he’s implying the US lost some concept like civility when this happened, I would ask why it’s today it was lost and not with Melissa Hortmans death. All of this is assuming he was killed by someone who disagreed with him, which I agree is likely, but unconfirmed. Seems premature to call it political assassination, when there’s no information about the shooter or motive available to the public.

      Democrats are posting this narrative because they are (understandably) scared of retribution from the other side. Charlie Kirk and his followers are extremists. His followers will not peacefully accept his extremely public death and the politicians are trying to mitigate the revenge those extremists will likely seek.
