Hulk Hogan leaves $5M estate and excludes daughter Brooke from will

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan may have been larger than life in the ring, but new court documents are shedding light on what he left behind and who he left out. According to filings obtained by US Weekly, Hogan’s son Nick revealed his late father’s estate is worth about $5 million. That includes 200,000 in cryptocurrency, nearly a million in personal and intellectual property, and publicity rights valued at 4 million. There’s also mention of a potential medical malpractice lawsuit with an undetermined payout. But the most surprising detail is that Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, is not listed as a beneficiary. The documents show that Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bola, last updated his will in July 2023, just a year before his death at the age of 71. While Nick was named soul heir, Hogan’s widow, Melanie Sky Daily, was recognized as the surviving spouse. Brooke, however, was absent from the paperwork, though reports say she had asked to be removed from the will to avoid any financial disputes after his passing. Nick has also filed to act as co-personal representative of the estate alongside his father’s longtime financial adviser, Terry McCoy. The two are now handling a lawsuit against radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge over an upcoming documentary rumored to feature Hogan’s infamous sex tape. Bubba has denied involvement, firing back in a video posted online and calling the lawsuit a bunch of garbage. Even questioning Nick’s motives by asking, quote, “How much more money do you need, buddy?” For now, Hogan’s Clearwater properties, estimated to be worth $11 million, weren’t included in the filing, but the court has appointed McCoy to manage the estate.

The details of Hulk Hogan’s will have been revealed.

The wrestling legend, who died of a heart attack in July, left behind nearly $5 million in assets, Us Weekly reported Wednesday, noting that his daughter, Brooke Hogan, was not listed as a beneficiary of his estate.

Hulk’s son, Nick Hogan, filed court documents to be named co-personal representative of his father’s estate along with a man named Terry McCoy, whom he proposed also be named the curator of the estate.

The court signed off on the requests.
