Gilmore Girls’s Alexis Bliddell and Lauren Graham are reuniting at the 2025 Emmy Awards, nearly a decade after Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life Revival aired in 2016. Alexis Bledell and Lauren Graham are set to reunite at the 2025 Emmy Awards. In addition to stars like Kristen Bell, Sophia Vergara, Walton Gogggins, and Coleman Domingo, the Gilmore Girls, actresses were announced September 9th as presenters for the ceremony, which will be hosted by comedian Nate Baretti at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles September 14th. The pair last appeared on a red carpet together 9 years ago for Netflix’s revival of the WB series, which originally ran for a seventh season from 2000 to 2007. Despite their lack of public appearances, though, Lauren has been vocal about her natural friendship with Alexis. After first meeting at the table read for the show, the 58-year-old said during an April appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, “I met Alexis in the lobby of the hotel, and we just always really got along. We did just feel immediate chemistry.” She added, “We are very different energies. She is shy, quieter person, which has been perfect. If you had two loud Mi, you’d not have a good balance. And the connection between Lauren and Alexis has been present throughout their 25-y year friendship. Lauren told People in 2016 ahead of the revival’s release. Just like the show, our dynamic has always been more like friends, a mother and daughter. We are closer in age than the kids who played my kids on Parenthood. She continued, I have so much respect for her as an actor and a person and a mom. I was just proud of how she has handled her personal life. She’s very private. We were both kind of in different places then and we’re both more settled down now, so that was kind of cool to reconnect. [Music]
