Amanda Seyfried Shares Confession on Her Cosmetic Procedures | E! News

Amanda Cyhred gets candid about her cosmetic procedures. While attending the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of her film, The Testament of Anne Lee, the actress revealed she gave up Botox and makeup for her role as Anne Lee. During a conversation with E Talk on the Carpet, she admitted giving up cosmetic procedures was eventually worth it. She said, “I’m an actor and that’s my job and that’s what I love to do. I don’t necessarily need all that in my life. I just like it. The things that I like, I can sacrifice a little. Of course, I can. before adding, “We did make sacrifices and it was worth it. Every day was fun. We didn’t just survive. We thrived.” She previously spoke about going makeup free for the movie during an interview with Vanity Fair back in August. She told the outlet, “I couldn’t get Botox for a year. That was a big assignment. When I first got Botox, I was like, “This is amazing.” Because I frown a lot. But then it all came back in a way that was absolutely necessary for all the work I was doing. That wasn’t the first time, however, that Amanda has been open about her skin. Earlier this year, she opened up about dealing with eczema while sharing her beauty secrets with Vogue, something the internet praised her for. And you might be thinking, what’s that on her face? That’s my eczema. And I, too, suffer from Perry oral dermatitis. When I was 19, I started developing the rash. And um, and I learned about a lot of medicated products. I learned a lot about just products in general from my dermatologist at the time. And the rash is screaming, but that’s okay because I’m going to cover it so I can go out in public. It’s funny how exit makes you feel. [Music]

Amanda Seyfried shared while on the red carpet for the Toronto International Film Festival that opting out of Botox for her role in The Testament of Ann Lee was a worthwhile sacrifice.
