Lindsay Lohan, Nancy Meyers Mourn Parent Trap’s Polly Holliday’s Death | E! News

Lindseay Lohan and Nancy Meyers mourned the death of Parent Trap actress Paulie Holidayiday. Following the news of Paulie Holliday’s death on September 9th, Nancy Meyers is paying tribute to the late actor with whom she worked with on the 1998 classic The Parent Trap. She wrote on Instagram, “So sad to hear of Polly Holiday’s passing. She was so kind and game and just wonderful in every moment in The Parent Trap. I just saw her the other night in All the President’s Men. She was fantastic in that film. My condolences to her loved ones and friends.” Her Parent Trap co-stars commented in response with their own condolences with Lindsay Lohan who played twins Hie and Annie in the movie writing beneath the post, “Oh my goodness, what a beautiful woman inside and out. God bless and RP Paul Polly.” And Lisa Anne Walter who played Hal’s nanny Chessie added, “Oh my gosh, I’m just now putting together that it was her in that film. She was wonderful and of course also in the Parent Trap. RIP Paulie.” Holly Holiday began acting in the late 70s on the sitcom Alice, receiving three Emmy award nominations for it. She also made appearances in other movies such as Gremlins and Mrs. Doubtfire. Her agent and longtime friend, Dennis Aspen, confirmed her death with the New York Times on December 10th. She was 88.
