Ryan Phillippe Makes Rare Comment About Ex Reese Witherspoon

Ryan Philippe makes rare comments about ex Reese Witherspoon. The star recently shared how the former couple’s 21-year-old son, Deacon, takes after his ex-wife, to whom he was married for nearly 10 years before their 2008 divorce. Ryan gushed to people of Deacon in an interview published September 12th. He’s got his mama’s work ethic. He absolutely does. Ryan defended his kids’ decision to follow in their parents’ footsteps in the entertainment industry despite the ongoing debate on nepotism in Hollywood. Ryan explained, “So many people end up doing what their parents do to some degree or another. I always get offended for the children of actors and entertainers when people bring that up. These kids have grown up watching on set with Reese or with me. It seems natural, I think.” Indeed, Reese has recently shared insight into raising her kids while being a working actor. Reese admitted in an Instagram post last month, “It looked like spending a lot of time in trailers together. It looked like always being on the road together.” The Legally Blonde star emphasized that raising three kids while working full-time was not easy. She reflected, “It looked really hard sometimes. I cry working 14 to 17 hours, sometimes all night long, and still woke up early for carpool. I was deliriously tired despite the difficulties.” Reese also made passing on her passion for working a priority.
