>Lush Cosmetics has created a trans flag bath bomb for charity! 🏳️⚧️
>Named the ‘Liberation Bath Bomb’, the limited-edition product launched in Lush stores across Australia and online on 10 September.
>75% of all proceeds will go directly to TransHub, a groundbreaking digital platform “for trans and gender diverse people, their loved ones and health providers,” operated by LGBTQIA+ health organisation ACON.
>This comes after the Queensland Government paused access to gender-affirming healthcare for new patients under 18, a decision widely criticised by healthcare professionals and LGBTQIA+ advocates.
>Jessielee Pearce, Advocacy and Activism Executive at Lush, said in a statement: “We cannot stand by while misinformation about the trans and gender-diverse community goes unchallenged.
>”We are honoured to uplift the essential work of TransHub. Their expertise and advocacy are crucial in creating a safer, more inclusive Australia for all.”
>In a climate of growing transphobia and shrinking DEI initiatives, Lush has doubled down on its commitment to trans rights — partnering with UK organisations TransActual and My Genderation, and launching a Gender Affirming Care policy that provides transition leave and support for employees.

While no company is perfect, Lush tries so hard in this crazy mixed up world and I am here for it!

Good as it is, I feel like it’d be more useful to fund legal fights.
Edit: seriously, rich people are using the legal system to destroy us. The legal charities and orgs are the front line. I’m sorry if that makes you uncomfortable.

I’m pleased and surprised.
I was under the impression Lush hadn’t been great on trans views, but this is good to see.

Baths gross me out (medieval filth cauldrons) but I’d buy a couple as gifts for sure. Doesn’t look like it’s available on their US site, though.
