Most of the tickets for the opening night of Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine Tour” are up for resale, with upper level tickets being upwards of 700$

    1. Pearl Jam started a fight with Ticketmaster back in 1994. Why can’t a artist and their fans come together in a better way? Pure greed? WTF

Not only are scalpers the problem, it’s the people willing to pay them to go to any concert. I would rather not go and sadly see an empty concert for people who legitimately got tickets than let them make a single fucking cent.

    3. It’s because ticket master sells to corporate scalpers before the public on sale even starts.

    4. This is so ridiculous. Tried for Ari, Gaga, and Tame Impala and it basically sold out at presale. It sucks that normal people can’t even see their favorite artists in concert anymore, it’s only really for the mega rich

What gigs have become is so sad to me I remember tickets generally being like 20/30 quid- I once went to a gig in a stadium where I paid like 30 quid and then years later the same artist’s tickets are going for hundreds despite their popularity remaining the same

I have to give some props to Ariana who posted she’s trying to resolve this scalper issue with her team. Compared to Lady Gaga who is using dynamic pricing jacking up her tour tickets to insane prices even the nosebleeds.

    7. I don’t know much about the logistics and all, but would it be possible for singers to not put their tickets on Ticketmaster ?

    8. Unless most have managed to sell in the few hours since your post, it’s not even close to most. In all of the blue sections the vast majority are unavailable. Some sections only have a single ticket for resale. There only has to be one ticket available for the entire section to be blue.
