Kody Brown Addresses Rumors of Feud With His Special Forces Costars | E! News

All right, fellas. I got to ask. Why sign up for the show? It’s a volunteered thing. Why put yourselves through this? Test our limits, man. Just got to know. There’s two reasons that I would do something like this. To test my limits and to make postexperience a better life. Because when you come out of something like that with constant failure, constant humiliation, and uh just just having let everybody down that there’s a humility that makes the rest of the life the rest of your life sweet. I think it’s a good positive outlet to have. I felt good ever since it was over. How much of it is physical? How much of it is really mental? It’s both. They’re going to 50/50 maybe. Yeah. They they’re pushing you. They’re finding your weakness and they’re pushing you on your weakness. And they found me in an emotional weakness and they found me in a mental weakness. I was there. I felt like I was in shape and there I was putting one step one foot in front of the other just constantly, but it felt like it broke me. It was humiliating in such a way that I came home feeling just humbled. Everything else probably seems a lot easier compared to being humiliated on national TV with this. Well, it was a every way they challenged all of us and they were looking for the challenge that they would like. There were things that did not bug me and there were things that did bug me. And Johnny might have had something that he experienced that bugged you that didn’t bug me and that I experienced something that bugged me that didn’t bug you. Sure. Any of your castmates you never want to see again? No. I think it’s been amazing to see everybody just whether we’re in the hotel passing by or like today I think um we did share an unbelievable bond through this. Whether you talked to somebody on the show a lot and had a great relationship with them or you didn’t um you know it was still something that we all got on that bus the very first day and got a bag thrown over our head and tossed off the bus and stepped and we trauma bonded. Yeah, we I mean you definitely did. You uh so so I think it’s always, you know, when you see people that you’ve done something like this with, it’s always a smile. You always, you know, have a shared respect of how hard it was and what you went through. Whether you stay the day or finish it all the way through, I don’t think it really matters. Nothing but love for all the cast members for the rest of our lives. I love that. All right, last question. Would you do this again? And would you re someone came up to you and was like, “Hey, I signed up season five of Special Forces.” What are you telling them? I want to see them pull together an XL, a special forces XL, bring in 20 of us who almost made it or who just won another shot because of an injury or something. I would maybe make it 15 days, make it harder, make it tougher, challenge us in ways. See, we have an expectation now, but I would love to do it again and have them hit me again in all the places they hit me with another group and have that same experience again. [Music]

Kody Brown shut down rumors that he had issues with his ‘Special Forces’ costars, exclusively telling E! News that he had “nothing but love” for his fellow competitors on the Fox show.
