Ago Wodm is out at Saturday Night Live. The comedian confirms in a September 12th Instagram post that she’s leaving the cast of SNL after seven seasons. She writes, “The hardest part of a great party is knowing when to say good night. But after seven unforgettable seasons, I have decided to leave SNL. I am immensely grateful to Lauren for the opportunity, to my castmates, the writers, and the crew for their brilliance, support, and friendship.” She adds, “Week after week on that stage, taught me more than I could have ever imagined. and I will carry those memories and that laughter with me always. Now, invite me to your weddings, please. E-News has reached out to reps for the network and has not yet heard back. Ego becomes the fifth cast member to depart the iconic sketch show ahead of the new season, which premieres October 4th. Heidi Gardner, Devin Walker, Michael Longfellow, and Emil Wayne are also out. Comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy will also not be featured following the departure of writer and performer John Higgins. Ben Marshall is staying on as a featured player while Martin Hurlehey remains on as a writer.
