Bad Bunny is looking out for his fans. The musician born Benito Antonio Martinez Okasio confirmed fan suspicions that is Debar Masotos world tour doesn’t include any US dates out of concern over immigration raids by the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement or ICE telling ID magazine September 10th, quote, “There are many reasons why I didn’t show up in the US and none of them were out of hate. I’ve performed there many times.” He continues, quote, “All of the shows have been successful. All of them have been magnificent. I’ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US, but there was the issue of like ice could be outside of my concert, and it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.” The rapper and actor further explains that quote, “For a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we were in unincorporated territory of the US, people from the US could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here or to any part of the world. Bad Bunny’s world tour kicks off on November 21st in the Dominican Republic, and he will perform throughout Latin America, Europe, Japan, and Australia before its end in July in Belgium. [Music]
