I don’t get why they’re complaining if Severance won more awards at the end of the day. It would have been impossible to do a full-sweep when an HBO-backed show had an incredibly solid run ~~more solid than Severance’s S2 at that~~
Severance fans acting like the show was snubbed but they got 8 wins, 3 more than The Pitt.
Also, very conveniently ignoring Tramell’s historic win in favor of complaining that Adam lost #noticing

I watch Severance, but never participated in the fandom and it really took me out to learn this weekend that The Pitt fans and Severance fans online hate each other, lmao.
people think of medical drama and automatically think it’s gonna be grey’s anatomy quality when the pitt did not come from grey’s anatomy or shondaland it was birthed from ER!!
The Pitt is the best medical drama I’ve seen, and being in healthcare it is pretty dang accurate as well. I like Severance but in my opinion Season 2 was way weaker than 1.

Severance won for the stuff it should have won for. It is not a bad show. But it’s nowhere near as good as its super fans think it is.
Fandom wars being “my show is cooler” and “my show is smarter” is so embarrassing. I like both shows and I like that they do wildly different things, being on the side of any show is so dumb. That said, I think The Pitt deserved to win just because the next season premieres next January, instead of a vague future date like Severance.

Severance won a ton of stuff. No reason to feel snubbed.
The Bear fans are also being annoying about the show losing hard this year. Season three was ass and the series is not even a comedy, but the fans are mad about The Studio and Seth winning over JAW and also being salty about Hacks taking home awards over them.
I’d get it if it was Abbott Elementary stans behaving this way, because the show is actually a successful comedy and unfortunately they didn’t take any awards home either this year, but The Bear fandom needed to be humbled down.
We are blessed to have both shows on in the same year.
I’m pretty sure even Adam Scott watched that scene of Noah breaking down and was like “damn give that guy the Emmy”
i really enjoyed severance but s2 was slow and had a lot of weak points in regards to pacing and overall narrative arc. it was not as strong as s1 whereas imo the Pitt was solid the entire way through.
