The way I shouldn’t find this funny, but how is your shit that expensive and still breaks when someone more or less sneezes in the garment’s general direction. 😵💫🥴😭😭😭

Luxury brands haven’t actually been luxurious in a long while now. They are just expensive without the quality and craftsmanship to back it up.

I feel like this but for more mainstream but still expensive brands like Reformation or Doen. Like how are you selling $200 dresses that rip like paper. And Reformation viscose is impossible to wash and have its original fabric feel. This is crazy for Miu Miu though at that price point
For even a hundredth of that cost, it’s absurd that the buttons will pop off on the first use.

The way I look through majority luxury brands/higher end brands with $$$ price tags and 9 times out of 10 they are made of synthetic material.

Material always comes first! I check those tags extensively when I’m shopping. Regardless if it’s brand name or not. Everything’s synthetic or polyester nowadays

I also find it odd that they’re sending him a replacement right away instead of offering to repair it. It speaks for itself. It’s replaceable fast fashion, like everything else on the market.

See some of these luxury brands be charging an arm and a leg, but for them to break easily like that and still expect to take people’s money? NO no, no no no no absolutely not!
Miu miu better speed speed that refund asap!

15 years ago, I bought a men’s brown leather embossed Gucci duffel bag for about 3k at the Gucci store in Beverly Hills. I treasured it so much, only took it out of the bag a few times to look at it, dreaming of the perfect trip to use it. The trip came about a year later and lo and behold, my 3k+ Gucci bag broke in two places within the first use carrying only clothes. The zipper tore and the little piping around the edges came undone, exposing the cheap plastic piping underneath. I took it back to Gucci with receipts and they looked at me like I was some poor scam artist and treated me as such. I vowed never again to give those crooks and their “luxury” cousins a penny.

If this was my brand I’d personally double sew those buttons on the replacement to save face lol. He has 14M followers, that’s not a small amount of bad press

I was on the fence about a MiuMiu woman’s fleece I saw…glad I bought a LV one from their new menswear rtw instead (no issues with Louis Vuitton ready to wear since I’ve started collecting…). But glad I didn’t purchase the MiuMiu. WILD.

Rita Ora’s Miu Miu Emmy’s dress looked awful and cheap as well. The fabric was so flimsy and wouldn’t lay right anywhere. Seems like a pervasive issue over at Miu Miu.

It’s craaazy. We’ve all bought something “cheap” compared to that jacket and is more durable and looks just as nice.

One of my close friends worked in fashion and strongly advises people to get the clothes they like as cheaply as possible, because it’s literally all the same. It costs the same to make, the quality is the same, cost difference and “luxury” are virtually meaningless.

Wouldn’t you???? as a BRAND??? at least test how the buttons were sewn on before re-sending these to someone you KNOW is going to make a video about it? Lmao…
But I mean, goes to show you how “luxury” brands are a joke now.

Closest style match I could find on Miu Miu’s site was [this](https://www.miumiu.com/us/en/p/denim-trucker-vest/GWB193_121P_F0008_S_OOO) one (not exact, but close) which retails for $2,750. (*That’s a lot of money for a logo*.)
