    1. All you need to know about how this administration sees free speech. They came for television before they came after hate speech or the Klan. Won’t be long before they come after Reddit threads and posts.

    2. Probably just a coincidence tbh, South Park’s taken shots at way bigger names before without getting pulled

    3. I think we would have known if that happened. I don’t think this administration is trying to be secretive about these things. I think they want other shows to know and to be scared it’ll happen to them also. If there was ever a time to something backdoor it was with Kimmel and they choice to say the quiet part out loud very very publicly.

    4. Obviously. South Park never “didn’t finish an episode” on their once a week schedule. Now suddenly, at a time when free speech is clearly being targeted, they suddenly aren’t ready to release because they “didn’t finish.”

    5. I thought so too, but you’d think Trump fucking satan with his little weenie and getting satan’s butt pregnant would have been the line 😂

    6. I don’t think it was pulled permanently? I think parker & stone took a week to better respond to the news. the article says that they “canceled themselves” and that everything is just fan speculation. they even quote a fan saying they took a week to process.

the show is still on the air. in a time where shows are being indefinitely pulled, we have to be very clear about what is real and what is speculation.

Wasn’t it confirmed that they delayed it because they “couldn’t get the tone” right?

Aka it was a brutal takedown but the higher up GOP funded stooges objected.

I’m wondering if what’s happening now will make next week’s episode even more outspoken. Matt and Trey have big ol balls but these are crazy times

Oh for sure. The fact that it was pulled so last minute says the episode was done and someone didn’t like it.

Or… they are doing a massively big episode that might take them out. A lot of the episodes this season are protests really.

South Park thrives on controversy, they’re not gonna pull a show over it. It’s probably just a streaming rights thing.

    11. **We desperately need more people with a conscience to actually do something. Watching these vile entrepreneurs fall over themselves to cozy up to the Trump administration is downright nauseating.**

    12. I don’t like to push speculation as the truth. All we know right now is that they couldn’t finish the episode in time.

With that said, if it later came out that this was the reason why the episode was not aired on time, or that Kirk was in any way going to be in the episode, I would not be surprised.

    13. it’s also extremely interesting to note that trey parker’s estranged (?) wife has posted in support of charlie kirk on her instagram

I honestly think they want to get canceled lol, I don’t think they care that much about the show anymore and want to do other things.

This episode was definitely CK centered. That being said, it makes sense that they went back to the drawing board out of respect and not external influence, that would have come AFTER the episode aired

I’m not 100% sure it wasn’t their decision given that a teaser was withheld for this episode
