David Letterman on Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension: “We all see where this is going, correct? It’s managed media. It’s no good. It’s silly. It’s ridiculous. You can’t go around firing somebody because you’re fearful or trying to suck up to an authoritarian, a criminal administration in the Oval Office.”

Tell em Dave.

I’ve been using this gif a lot but it’s needed. We need more well known people to call this out for what it is.
>”The major problem, one of the major problems, for there are several, with governing people is that of who you get to do it. Or, rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them. To summarize: it is a well known and much lamented fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made president should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem.”

Extremely relevant voice to be speaking on this!
There is a certain irony in how much the media truly wanted Trump to win (all three times!), and this being the result. But it just sucks that we’re on the sinking ship with them.
Not a huge Letterman guy myself but I appreciate his candor here.
