Late-night show hosts Jon Stewart, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and former host David Letterman have rallied behind Jimmy Kimmel after ABC’s decision to indefinitely suspend his popular late-night show as a result of his comments about rightwing activist Charlie Kirk.
They are finally feeling what we felt during Covid. Silenced. But honestly, I think the late night ratings are so bad, they took this opportunity to finally suspend it.

Hey I’m trying to find a place to watch the daily show without a paramount+ (or really any) subscription. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Americans of reddit please watch Jon’s interview with Maria Ressa from last night
Jon Stewart was great especially the choir of asskissers part. You want the authoritarian regime late night talk show, then this is what it looks like.

Colbert is a real one, I’ve always said it.

It’s funny how Trump’s FCC bungled the whole thing. If they had just kept quiet it probably would have been cancelled anyway. Late night shows are all declining, and it probably wasn’t making much money to begin with.
With Sinclair and Nexstar refusing to show Kimmel on their ABC affiliates Disney was going to lose a ton of add revenue. Plus they’d be getting pressure from conservatives to pull the show. It would have quietly been axed by not renewing it.
Instead the FCC barges in and makes it about free speech and Trump.
