Taylor Swift’s Life of a Showgirl Coming to Theaters for Release Party | E! News

Taylor Swift is headed back to the big screen. The singer announced on Instagram September 19th that her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, will have a companion project hitting theaters. She writes next to a photo in her showgirl gear. Quote, “I hereby invite you to a dazzling suaree, the official release party of a showgirl, October 3rd through October 5th, only in cinemas.” Taylor explains that viewers will get to catch the world premiere of her new music video for the single the fate of Oilia along with never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of how they made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired the music and brand new lyric videos from the new album. The singer adds, quote, “Looks like it’s time to brush off that era tour outfit or orange cardigan. Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional, but very much encouraged.” The news comes a little over a month after Taylor announced her new album during her August 13th appearance on Fiance Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. At the time, the Midnight’s artist shared some insight into where she drew inspiration for the new project. Album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and and vibrant. We’ve made we’ve made songs that I’m so proud of.
