When Prince Harry is away, Meghan Markle will play, taking to Instagram, sharing nostalgic snaps of Harry in his pilot jumpsuit to celebrate the Duke’s birthday.
Sure, any man, regardless of profession, say a car mechanic, can look attractive in a zip-up/zip-down uniform, but here, Meghan was trying to send her 41-year-old husband a birthday wish with a photo of himself, and it seemed like the message got lost in translation.
On one hand, it appeared a bit desperate, as if Meghan was using her own husband as bait for attention, but why?’

Harry had been in the UK for four days, visiting charities and his father, King Charles, and it seems like Meghan was feeling the absence of her husband.
During a Sky News segment, host Gabriella Power discussed what Harry did while he was traveling, saying: “He also celebrated his 41st birthday, and of course, his wife Meghan Markle, shared a photograph of him that dates back to 2015 to wish him a happy birthday.”

Power asked her guest, Andrew Eborn for his thoughts on the matter, with the barrister and broadcaster saying: “Harry was 41 on the 15th of September, and she put a little post on Instagram, saying, ‘Oh, hi, birthday boy.'”
Eborn provided some context for the photo: “That picture was taken for the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.”
The royal commentator didn’t seem overly concerned about the photo, nor did he seem particularly impressed, his assessment was rather neutral.
He said: “But, Meghan, that’s what she posted, that little picture, because he was absent for the birthday, because he was over here, and it worked well, I feel like people enjoyed that.”

Power, on the other hand, she seemed to feel strongly about Meghan turning her attention to Instagram.
The Sky News presenter said: “She never misses an opportunity to post on Instagram, I’ll say that much.”
While Eborn appeared to dismiss Meghan’s photo selection with a casual shrug, there was a telling moment when he recited the caption aloud using a sultry tone, reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe, suggesting that particular aspect may have struck a nerve, as Meghan had written, “Oh, hi, birthday boy,” accompanied by a fire emoji, essentially saying, “hot stuff!!”
The photo is from 2015, the year before Harry and Meghan met
Meanwhile, Meghan might have been experiencing some possessiveness and wanted to send a clear message that Harry belongs to her and that the Royal Family won’t be stealing him back.
Given Harry’s ongoing rift with his relatives, he might actually enjoy being the center of such attention.
