Priscilla Presley is recalling a tragic loss. In a new interview published September 17th, the 80-year-old details the heartbreaking day that her and lay ex-husband Elvis Presley’s only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, died in 2023 at the age of 54. Sharing with People magazine, it was the second saddest day of my life other than losing Elvis. It took a long time to come to terms with the fact that Lisa was gone. Lisa had been rushed to the hospital after her ex-husband Danny Kio found her unresponsive at her home due to a small bowel obstruction that developed after a buriatric surgery she had years prior. And shortly after Priscilla met them at the hospital and stayed quote all day long. Recalling Lisa really wasn’t breathing, so she was on the ventilator for hours. We were there waiting, hoping, and praying until the doctor came in and said, “Priscilla, I’m so sorry she’s gone.” However, the 80-year-old said accepting that reality was difficult for the whole family. Priscilla adds, “We just couldn’t believe it. Didn’t want to believe it. It was hard on all of us. It still is. [Music]
