We’re just silencing people. You’re just firing people. We’ve been misrepresented for years for for Four season. This is fantastic. Four seasons. Can you believe it? I can’t. Can you? No. Because it’s been going on for hundreds of years. It feels like this is the longest job of my adult career. That’s right. This consist like to come back and play this character for this many years. It’s really fun. It is, isn’t it? But I it’s unexpected because I always I’m used to changing the character and doing a new character, but it’s kind of great consistency wise. Yeah, that’s because you’re in the world of film primarily. No, I’m not, babe. No, I’m not. Not anymore. No, I mean, thank you so much for what you do because because of the show, you’re helping viewers to, you know, to be aware a little bit with all the time subjects you’re touching, right? So, for this one, you dive into the deep fakes and conspiracy series. Um, you know, have you both ever been like also uh tricked into fake news yourself? Oh, that’s a good question. Have I have I No, but you know, my mother is a little bit older and she’ll call me and say, you know, someone called or I saw this online and it’s really disorienting um some of the AI misinformation and advertisements. Yeah, that is that I’ve definitely noticed in the last year or two. A lot of friends sending me videos uh clips saying, “Have you are you promoting this product or did you say this?” And and none of it is me. None of it is my voice. I mean, none of it’s it’s very frightening. Um but there’s also misinformation is h our being in the media or in the public eye. We’ve been misrepresented for years for for tabloids in the world of the tabloids and just for I guess it’s clickbait now it’s called but most of the headlines are all misinformation. Where do you both take your news from? Like what what do you read like in the mornings like your news feed? What would it be like where where do you feel it’s the truth? I read a newsletter every day. Ground. No, I read a a guy named Smirkoneish. Oh. And it’s balanced between, you know, conservative and a little more progressive. That’s I get a newsletter similar. What’s it called? I want to say it’s called Ground News, but it’s it’s Jessica Yellen turned me on to it. Yes. It’s it’s the left, it’s the right, it’s a center, and it’s just really good to read all the perspectives. It’s like a headline and then you get uh you know the the far right’s point of view, far left point of view and then the center centrists I think is really important. Reading news is important and people aren’t not someone’s opinion of the news. Correct. And also getting to really hear both sides is very important. We we stop listening to each other. That’s so true. and you just believe one and and you the other and and from if it’s a different perspective or a different different information it’s just no that’s fake that’s real we you cannot it’s not that cut and dry right I mean who decides what’s fake and what’s I don’t know that’s the the puppeteers no and there’s no verification no one has to identify AI I think there’s legislation coming through that you’re having to say now this is AI generated hopefully and there’s no factchecking anymore we’re just silencing people.
