      Jess was the only boyfriend to get along well with Paris, and I think he deserves points for that.

      Edit: Also, Jess probably would have called Christopher on his bullshit and put him in his place. He knows what it’s like to have an absentee dad. I’m surprised the show never explored that commonality.

      I’m so tempted to watch this show, but I still haven’t finished The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars OR Desperate Housewives and I started all of the shows back in 2015 šŸ˜­

      Edit: I also started Charmed in 2023 and still haven’t finished that either lol

      Emily is a great character but it bugs me a little how much so many people downplay her terrible treatment of Lorelai

      My pre-teen and I are currently in a binge of Gilmore Girls. It is her first time actually paying attention and watching it. It is fun to see her reactions to Dean/Tristen/Jess so far. She also got my rant about how a freaking car is not an appropriate gift for a 3 month anniversary and how Dean actually sucks.

      Fine, Iā€™ll rewatch Gilmore Girls again. I like the college/post-college seasons, but thatā€™s probably because Iā€™m in my mid-20s.

      No lieā€¦I thought this was peak ā€œwhite womenā€ type of show. Generational wealth, gifted kid, attractive main characters who could give a damn about their ā€œreputationā€ all fit the bill.

      I saw a clip of Emily snubbing a potential DAR candidate because she was a 4th wife who signed a prenup. I get the idea is calling out the bullshit of old money but the status quo still stands where weā€™re watching what George Carlin says: itā€™s a big club and you ainā€™t in it.
