Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Wilson Says She’s “Financially Independent” Amid Estrangement

Vivien Wilson is setting the record straight about her finances. While speaking on a panel at the Teen Vogue Summit 2025 September 20th, the estranged daughter of Elon Musk shares she’s recently reached a major money milestone. I’m financially independent, which will love for me. Um, but also I mean I’m making money now, but like crazy. No. Yeah, these comments from Vivian come shortly after she got candid about her finances as the daughter of the richest man in the world and his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson, telling The Cut in an interview earlier this month, “People assume I have a lot of money. I don’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars at my disposal. My mom is rich, right? But obviously the other one is unimaginable degrees of wealthy.” However, the 21-year-old who came out as transgender in 2020 doesn’t seem too bothered by the world’s assumptions, exclusively revealing to E! News following the Teen Vogue panel how she really feels regarding all the rumors about her. I just don’t like when people say things about me. I like assume things about me that like aren’t true, but like people are going to say what they want and that’s like fine, I guess. Yeah, it kind of must have bothered me cuz it wasn’t true. That was the thing. [Music]

    1. Ooh please finacially independent 😮she shud go away, she looks like she ain't never lifted her hands to do anything but to push away that bleached blond hair away😂☝🏽

    2. Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. 1 know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!
