Lol I find it funny how on this sub the celebs mentioned in the headline are Olivia, Pedro, Ruffalo, Pugh but all the mainstream media outlets are reporting the same report with lib heroes like Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Ben Affleck, and Lin Manuel Miranda.

I think we should start making a list of the celebs who’ve spoke up and rhose who’ve not. I”d rather support those who spoke up and risked being blacklist than those who chose wealth.

Lots of people currently on the Disney payroll on here. Good to see.

Edited to add- I’m surprised Josh Gad didn’t sign this, he was criticizing the decision a few days ago.

    4. You have to admire the fact that Matt Damon, who unquestionably agrees with this letter, didn’t sign it. That is a STRONG commitment to the bit and you have to respect it.

Have a dumb question. How do these open letters with a bunch of celebrity signatures work? Do they reach out to a bunch of managers? Have a secret message board to ask about interest? Slide into celeb DMs?

Haven’t we learned that stern letters do nothing?

I suppose it’s a message to their fans at least.

E: what would be nice is if they refused to work wasting production studio’s money as a message.

    7. Love seeing the solidarity, glad Jimmy knows a lot of people in the industry have his back. This whole situation is a shitshow and I wish I could go back to simpler times, but we’re pretty much past the point of no return by now.

    8. Whelp here’s hoping they do more than just signatures after this also. (Better not be taking contracts and work from these companies etc.)
