Blake Lively SHUT DOWN By Judge — Runs Back to Gossip Girl!?

Blake Lively marks her 18th anniversary of Gossip Girl with never-before-seen photos, and it’s getting all the press. Remember, whenever Blake Lively is giving herself good press, it means the judge just gave her a big no. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Welcome to Popcorn Planet. I am Andy Signor, and yes, I saw this all over Kim and I noticed this headline. every every big major outlet over the past uh starting 24 hours are celebrating how Gossip Girl is turning 18 with sweet throwback photos. This show was my college. Uh it was this Instagram post that she posted this summer Gossip Girl turned 18. Of course, trying to use The Summer I Turned Pretty, which is now like all the rage. This show was my college. It was my education, my social life, my hard work, my late nights and early mornings, my teacher, New York City and Silver Cup Studios and sometimes Paris sparkle was my campus for six years. So many memories. What a decade. Heart sparkles. What a university. And here she is like posting these photos. Now, why is this Why am I focusing on this? Like, yeah. All right. She was Gossip Girl was clearly one of her biggest projects. Why wouldn’t it be such a big deal to post these throwbacks? I mean, let’s let’s let uh Dane Donna Donna is here expressing uh in better words than I can. Here she is. Daily Dose of Donna. Let’s go through the history. Gossip Girl, a show that ended so long ago. And Blake Lively is documented, well documented to have been nothing more than a disaster. They don’t like Blake. And I’m not just saying this because I don’t think they don’t like Blake. It is documented. Do any sort of Google search and you’ll see that the only person from the Gossip Girl cast after all these amazing years working together. The only person that still follows her is Chase Crawford. That’s the only one. Leon Mester, no. Pen Badgely, her ex-boyfriend. No. None of these cast members, including all of the ones that she posted in this crazy throwback post, which let’s look at. Here is her caption. The Anyway, go watch Donna’s full recap, but she’s right. I wanted to go there. She makes another good theory is why else would you share this? Especially this weird one of Michelle Tractenberg who seemingly wasn’t a fan of Blakes’s. Uh why would you push all this out there unless to quote Donna, you’re going through a box in your basement because you’re moving out of your house. It’s like good point, Donna. I got to I got to echo that. Is is that part of this? Could this be another sign that it’s not as good as we think it is? or she’s at as they’re painting it between Ryan and Blake and then she’s cleaning up a lot of old things. I mean, this is a lot. Look at this. Pulling out a lot of old boxes of photos. Who does that? Who does that? Unless you’re moving out, clearing out stuff. Uh it does feel like uh you know, something else might be happening. Divorce. I don’t know. I’ve heard the rumors have been out there for a while. But here she is trying to distract. Here she is putting herself as such a Oh, look how close we are. Oh, we were so close. Leight and Mester. Where’s the photo of them together? Reportedly, these two do not get along at all. And I’m I’m team Leon Mester. I’ve always been always preferred her. Uh and uh yeah, this is where it is. But of course, the headlines all over if you go look at it. Uh this is what they’ll all take in the press. This is what the press is all reporting on. Oh, throwback photo. Sweet throwback. Reflects on her memories. Never before seen snaps including co-star Michelle T. She knows what she’s doing. So, I just I point this out because I think it’s important that you be able to watch when you see this and you notice it, you view the check the coverage when you see uh the headlines all about Blake in a positive way like that she instigated. She knows what she’s doing. Is this PR farming to distract from a separate issue? Because again, people didn’t like her on Gossip Girl. I I shout out to Ewood who who is uh going to be in our documentary as well, but he was a runner on Gossip Girl. He’s He shared the stories so often about and supports all the content creators. We shout out to Ewood. Um yeah, nobody nobody nobody was a fan. Nobody was a fan. Now, why might she be doing that? Let’s let’s look dig a little deeper because the judge did give her a big no. And I want to I want to break down why this is such a big no and why this is so important. So, back we we reported on this. Was it Friday? I believe Friday we reported on this. Uh Blake basically has been trying to move the goalposts. Uh it might have been earlier than Friday. She’s been trying to move these goalposts to sort of get the smear campaign to last even longer than it should because again remember she claimed the smear campaign was during the bad press she received over the summer of the film being released. And then it’s oh no and now it’s during production and now it’s during this now it’s after during the lawsuits. This smear campaign is never ending. Meanwhile Blake can keep smearing Justin in the press and talk about subpoenas being delivered before even we get them. But I digress. Uh, she’s trying to make this smear campaign be never ending. It can be the whole period. And she was trying to get information from this company called Sourced Intelligence, which Wayfair used. Basically, Sourced Intelligence was like an investigation firm uh for Wayfair uh hired by the team to dig up into stuff like behind the scenes uh like private investigators during the lawsuit. This was they were hired after the lawsuit by Freriedman, by the legal team. So, they were, you know, working for Wayfair to do their homework and do little little pieces of information. And Blake was basically like, I want the information. They’re going to we need this information. Clearly, there’s a smear campaign and I need to know what they sent. She wanted all their emails, all the information, everything in here. As they were sort of showing both positions here to the judge. Well, the judge came back. The judge came back and was like, “Nope, that’s private legal work. It’s protected. You don’t just get to peek into the defense strategy. Basically, you don’t get to see Justin’s homework. Uh, and finally, again, Lyman doing the right thing. Everyone wants to always call him out, but he he has stood his ground and fought for the legal reasons, and she did not get to just keep having cart blanch on everything she asked for. Uh, and Judge Lyman really gets into this a little bit more specifically, explaining why. And I got to say, this is a good thing. Here, I want I want to go through uh page two. Here we go. Lively has not demonstrated that sourced intelligence is likely to have non-privileged information relevant to any claim in her underlying action. The basis for Lively’s current request is that sourced intelligence was purply involved in an alleged online smear campaign against her retaliation for claims of discrimination. Lively, however, has profered no facts to support her suspicion that source intelligence was involved in the conduct she alleges to have been wrongful. She states only that one of the agents who participated in the alleged smear campaign may be sourced intelligence and that source intelligence may be engaged in the same type of online activity the court has already held and not and pre not privileged or protected. Mere speculation cannot support discovery. Now that’s a that’s a big deal. This quote right here I this to me like sums up the whole case. Well then why are we here still? Like this whole thing is based off of speculation. Just because Melissa Nathan said we can bury anybody doesn’t mean they did. Just because you overexaggerate yourself to get a job or you promise the moon doesn’t mean you can actually deliver the moon. And in this case, they didn’t have to. The public didn’t like Blake Lively and it all happened organically on its own. Now, might they have tried to do something else if the if the public didn’t uh you know, take take the the the the the facts? Who knows? But that’s not what we’re debating. We’re not f we’re not going in the future and guessing things that didn’t happen. We’re talking about what did happen. And everybody, myself included, and all the other journalists that were reporting in this, we’re reacting to Blake Lively’s own actions and words. No, no money, no payments, no moves from from team Justin. Uh so encouraging to see Lyman basically say, “No, mere speculation cannot support Discovery.” So, I share this because it’s important that we we see these wins for Justin and not let her keep putting out distractions to try to help us think, “Oh, no, there’s no Blake Lively is taking over the news today because just to prove she still can do it and to try to say that this wasn’t smart or a plan in place the Come on. Come on. Clearly, she’s she I bet you she has 10 of these ready to pull the trigger on when she whenever she needs it to sort of throw a throwback out or some new thing about Ryan. I’m sure her PR team is ready with 10 things ready to go at any given time to help distract to Jedi mind trick you guys from everything else and we won’t take the bait. It’s not going to happen. Uh the press is desperate for throwback photos. But no, the real press should be talking about this massive no that she got this over. She she thinks she can get everything and she won’t. Now, one other thing I want to point out, which we’re still waiting for more information to come in on this, but as we reported on, Justin’s team did hire two new lawyers. Okay, we talked about this. Uh, Alexander Shapiro uh and uh who’s the other Shapiro and Jonathan Bach, right? Here, we don’t I didn’t I didn’t pay for these docs because not really important. Just they’re they’re now appearing. But what things are interest why this is more interesting is because obviously them joining introduces a whole question of could this be them looking into the appeal process the van sham of it all there’s a lot of stuff as we’ve gone down but I want to I want to point out that not actually golden made a very good notice here look at this Shapiro and Bach the new lawyers have appeared in the Jones versus Ael case they don’t need to do that if all they’re going to do is try to keep the New York Times from getting a final judgment to affect the appeal timing. I mean, the cases are related and the discovery in the cases is related, but they’re not consolidated. They’re not the same case. That is curious. that is very very curious. I love her takes. Uh, and she’s very smart on this case. She’s been following every little detail. And when she’s curious, I’m curious. What are those lawyers brought in to do? A lot of us, myself included, have said, “Oh man, Justin’s messed up. The Taylor Swift of it all. There’s been stuff that’s been stumbles. I would just call them stumbles.” But we can’t lose faith as well because there are obviously a lot of plays in place. And I’m hoping that these new two hires are going to be big moves that are going to help either Exactly. we stop the final judgment against New York Times or the the Jones Ael case. There’s a lot of cases and things happening all at the same time. Many balls in the air. So stay tuned. We will keep you privy to all of them. Uh but some that is I agree with her.
