End of an era. I’m honestly surprised it hung on for as long as it did after the allegations about Nev came out.
I mean Nev is a real estate agent now so it makes sense.

I feel like catfishing back when the show started was different- it had layers to it that required some investigation work AND it was usually someone who was just less attractive than the photos so they were embarrassed. But now it’s so obviously a friend who agreed to pretend to be a catfish so they could all get on tv togetherÂ
Guess that’s why Nev hard launched his real estate career on my TikTok FYP the other day.
This is so crazy because I just checked earlier today if it had been canceled since Nev posted about going into real estate.
But tbh the show died after Max left. They were never able to regain the same popularity.

I know it’s because cable is dying, but does anyone else have elderly parents that love MTV? I visit my parents in their over 55 community, and their neighbors love Catfish and Ridiculousness. It’s kind of funny

So many hilarious episodes and reveals on the years, even though sometimes you can tell when it was being manufactured by either the producers or the actual lover/catfish. Of course Fat Kelly Price is one of the top episode and also the crazy dude that started clapping and getting aggressive, the fiji water dude, etc.

I didn’t realise they were still making new episodes but I guess it’s the kinda thing that has an endless supply of content. Catfishing never stops, just evolves.Â
I thought this show already had 10,000 seasons that already ended in 2019.
