All these calls for boycotts. Has it ever occurred to people that when you call for boycotts – as happens multiple times a day in just my Reddit feed – then you invite others to do the same? And that those people may have more economic power than you?
In my city, we’re subject to one of these companies either way–Sinclair owns our Fox and ABC affiliates, and Nexstar owns our NBC and CBS affiliates. The CW is owned by a different company, but operated on their behalf by Sinclair.
Does anyone have insight on how these contracts work? If Sinclair/Nexstar don’t show these shows. Do they still have to pay for them per their contracts?

So people are giving up their entertainment, which, by the way, they need more than ever now, to support a millionaire who doesn’t even know they exist, and no doubt doesn’t care. These shows are bleeding money, and ratings are ‘way down. The late night shows are a dying breed with so many other options out there. I used to watch Kimmel when he was funny, but stopped when he became a one-note host
